Mediocre web typography is finally pining for the fjords.
If you’ve got a reasonably modern browser (one that supports @font-face), you’ll probably see this new headline font now has ligatures. IE still sucks as usual. Chrome seems to have difficulty with ligatures on certain fonts, but I’m unsure as to whether it’s all fonts embedded with @font-face and not system fonts, or if it’s just kind of random.
The new font used is called Fontin Sans. It really is quite nice for both a body and headline font, I think.
